The expertise of our team contributes greatly to the quality of planning, design, research, analysis and reporting of trials. Our scientific experts are on-site and linked to extensive global networks. Furthermore, they 'speak the language' of fellow investigators so that trials run smoothly and produce high-quality results. Credibility is crucial for the success of any clinical trial, and our scientific credentials give trials considerable prestige. In 2007, our expert group produced 186 publications (journal articles, books, book chapters, government reports) and made 140 conference presentations. Outstanding among these are:
- ADVANCE – Published in The Lancet and The New England Journal of Medicine, and presented at the American Diabetes Association, San Francisco, the European Society of Cardiology Congress, Vienna and The Great Wall International Congress of Cardiology and American College of Cardiology Symposium, Beijing.
- SAFE – Published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
