The Cardiovascular Division discovers and implements new strategies for the prevention of stroke, heart attack and other major vascular diseases.

Renal & Metabolic

The Renal and Metabolic Division develops treatment and prevention strategies for kidney disease, as well as major lifestyle as risk factors for chronic disease and injury.

Neurological and mental health

The Neurological and Mental Health Division aims to reduce the worldwide impact of neurological and mental health disorders, with a particular focus on stroke, sleep apnea and epilepsy.

Critical care and trauma

The Critical Care and Trauma Division focuses on the management of critically ill patients and the impact of the injury with an emphasis on pre-hospital care.

Injury

The Injury Division aims to conduct high-quality, policy relevant research into the causes, prevention and treatment options for various kinds of injury.

The Musculoskeletal Division has three main themes: back pain, ageing and contracture. It aims to develop simple and effective treatments, delivered well.
